Every cup of coffee represents someone's livelihood halfway around the world. We care because economic justice starts with how we treat workers—from coffee farmers in Guatemala to our baristas in Chicago. When business is done fairly, communities thrive and coffee tastes better.
Cooperative Dreams
When our original owner wanted to retire, she could have sold to a chain. Instead, she sold to her employees at below-market price because 'the community deserves better than corporate coffee.' Now seven worker-owners share profits and decisions. It proves another economy is possible when people choose cooperation over extraction.
